2016 NORTH COAST CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS’ CONFERENCE

Hi everyone

Below are some details that will assist you as you attend our conference. Please be in prayer for each other as we travel, meet, fellowship, worship, share and learn. May we all know the unity that the risen Jesus has graciously given to us as His very own people.

·PARKING (Wednesday/Thursday ONLY)

Coffs Harbour staff should park towards the back oval of the school near the big shed (cars will be there early. Coffs CURACOA St. Staff please park there too but if you are uncertain, please park out the front). There is ample parking at the front of the school including front basketball courts for our non-Coffs Harbour guests.

·VENUE

Look for the signs. Head for the auditorium which is situated on the eastern edge of the school block.

·KLA MEETINGS (THURSDAY)

Everyone is required to bring something to share according to your main KLA group. Each teacher shares an idea/strategy/website/program/etc. with people in their groups. Also, any other relevant issues pertaining to the various KLAs e.g. new KLA curriculum.

Please bring a reliable USB with you.

·OPTIONS (THURSDAY)

Schools have now received important information for option leaders and for staff.

Principals have been asked to notify:

1.       Leaders of the numbers of participants for their options for any handouts. (95% of staff have nominated options – please allow for extras)

2.       All staff that they have been placed into their first option choice for both the morning and the afternoon sessions.  (A list of participants for each of the options will be available on the Wednesday)

·DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

If there are any special dietary requirements we are not yet aware of, e.g. gluten free or allergies, please advise us by Monday morning (9am; 27/6) which will enable us to accommodate staff for meals during the conference.

There will be NO allowances for staff who have not registered with us for dietary requirements.

·WEATHER

Looking good BUT bring your winter woollies as Bonville gets a tad cool. We do have heaters but the auditorium is a big box! Meals will be OUTSIDE - a picnic!

·BADGES

Please bring your personal school badge. We want you to wear your own school badge as it identifies you and your school.

·ATTIRE

Casual clothes are fine but presentation is important (not too casual!)
